my week in colorado.

A couple of weeks ago, I went with my dad, uncle, and cousin to Yarmony Ranch in Eagle County, Colorado, the home of Horizon Quest, for one of the most amazing weeks of my life. There's really just so much to say that I don't know where to begin. The four of us greatly enjoyed this full working ranch, where we had the pleasure of five-star accommodations, as well as two five-star chefs (a nice 2:1 ratio) and a counselor attending to us the entire time. The week was filled with nature, horses, guns, sunrises, campfires, amazing food, fly fishing, and much discussion...yet this is just the beginning of it. It was an amazing week at an inspiring place committed to building authentic Christian relationships and friendships - the mission of Horizon Quest is that of Leading groups of men in the quest for an intimate relationship with Christ and each other. It was truly a blessing to spend a week with the men in my family here - I've included several pictures and encourage those interested to visit their website and consider your own retreat with your "band of brothers."
