I noticed on the Baylor University Seal the moto: "Pro Ecclesia. Pro Texana." I don't know how I ever missed this! Seriously though, how great a motto is that?! "For Church and for Texas." Simply wonderful. Furthermore, I would like to point out that Baylor, the oldest university in Texas, was chartered by the Republic of Texas, before Texas joined the Union as the 28th state. Yeah, I know I'm being that "crazy Texas guy right now," but it's my blog. Anyway, I love the motto.
